My goal is to teach everyone that being “unphotogenic” is a myth.

We’ve all been there: no matter how many photos someone takes of you, you can’t seem to find a single one you like. It’s demoralizing, frustrating, and downright depressing. I’m here to say that YOU are NOT the problem! When you book with me, here’s what you can expect.
Coaching in how to pose from head-to-toe. I understand that being given explicit direction can help ease a significant amount of nerves when you’re in front of the camera – that’s why I’ll be active throughout the shoot, personally demonstrating poses and walking you through them. From masculine to feminine and anywhere in-between, I want to work with you to find where you’re most comfortable and show your authentic beauty. I pride myself on my attention to detail and ability to highlight the features that you love the most.
Golden hour lighting specialty, and expert knowledge on how to work with any type of lighting throughout the day. I’m a firm believer in the power of sunrise and sunset to create universally flattering light, which is why I’ve dedicated myself to being able to capture that golden warmth in photos.
An editing style that works with your preferences. In a massive departure from photographer norms, I don’t use Photoshop presets! I started this due to my belief that different skin tones require different editing styles to bring out the most flattering colors, textures, etc., and have appreciated the flexibility it gives me in making sure the photos you get are the ones you envisioned.
About me
Born and raised on a farm in small-town Redding, Connecticut, I moved to to the West Coast four years ago to pursue my undergraduate education at UCLA and am currently attending law school at USC. However, with over 8 years of professional photography experience, storytelling through photography is my passion. I believe that every aspect of life is worth celebrating – from welcoming a new family member to graduating college to getting a new haircut, I want to help you remember the moments that count.
I care deeply about human rights issues, hence the law school thing. That’s also why 5% of my monthly earnings go towards a new charity every few months: currently, I donate to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), providing shelter, access to clean water, health care, education, and jobs to refugee families from Ukraine, Sudan, Afghanistan, Yemen, and other parts of the world.
